This new class celebrates classic French confections from around the country!

We start in Bordeaux with the elusive Canelé. This pastry is best described as a crème brûlée in cake form. We will bake these in the traditional copper molds.

Next we go to Paris for Madeleines. Made particularly famous by Proust, this is a sweet that is best eaten immediately. Learn to master these at home so you will no longer need to settle from imitations elsewhere.

We end in Marseille with the unmistakable Navette cookie. Simple, yet easily ruined, this secret recipe uses olive oil to make it truly authentic and delicious.

Each sweet has it own story and legend behind it. Learn the legends and recipes in this hands-on baking class:

-Navettes

Each attendee will take home two canelés, two madeleines, and a half dozen navette cookies.

Please arrive 10 minutes before class start time. There is ample free parking throughout Medina Square, but we do recommend giving yourself enough time to park and arrive to class on time as there are often events in Medina Square, which may require more time for parking.

Class registration is non-refundable. While we have a no-cancellation policy, if you do wish to cancel your reservation, we will gladly offer a credit if we can find a replacement for your reservation.
