Join us for LE WEEKEND DE GALETTE DE ROI! Be French with us in celebrating the biggest weekend for this puff pastry and frangipane specialty. Galette de Roi is found throughout France during the month of January, a specialty for Feast of the Epiphany on January 6th. While we offer this class throughout the year, celebrate this timely offering as we make it when the rest of France enjoys it as well. We will also be making the most emblematic pastry of Saint Rémy de Provence, les sacristans!

Make your own laminated puff pastry dough…easier than you may think! This class will focus on the versatile and delicious frangipane, or almond creme.

Puff pastry may seem like a daunting task, but it is really quite easy! Fortunately, it does not take a thousand turns of the dough to create all these layers. I promise you will never purchase puff pastry again after making this delicious home made version using the best local and organic ingredients.

This class will feature Frangipane, or almond cream, in its combination to make the classics Galette des Rois and Sacristans.

In this 3-hour workshop, we will make:
-Laminated Puff Pastry
-Frangipane
-10” Galette des Rois
-Sacristans

Each participant will take home:
-One 10” Galette des Rois “King Cake”
-One box of Sacristans, specialty of Saint Rémy
