Summer Day Trip: Berlin Heights
Join us for one of our Farm Field Trips in one of my favorite areas to visit on summer weekends! Berlin Heights is a small town with many orchards and plenty of gems in the surrounding area.
Our Pick of Peck of Pears Farm Field Trip will take place in downtown Berlin Heights at historic A.B. Phillips Fruit Farm whose history dates back to the early 19th century. A.B. Phillips opens for cherry season...featuring both sweet and my favorite tart Montmorency cherries. Available in the barn or pick your own, they also offer raspberries, amazing peaches, pears, endless varieties of apples, grapes and more. We love the traditional and rustic experience of being out among the wild flowers picking the best and freshest fruit!
As promised, I am sharing more of my favorite places to explore during a day trip to this lovely area.
