Authentic Herbes of Provence. 95% of Herbes de Provence are not grown in Provence, not even in France. These Herbes are grown in Provence and contain the only herbs legally allowed: Thyme, Rosemary, Basil, Oregano or Marjoram and Savory.

King Louis XIV may have decreed that Herbes of Provence should contain 3% basil, 19% thyme and 26% each of rosemary, savory, and oregano, but I will not dispute the knowledge of generations of the Mallesson family producing these fragrant herbs. They grow them organically, on their 20 acres of land , along the northern ridge of the famous Sainte Victoire mountain: Cezanne’s mountain. This 100% organic, 100% French blend contains: 26% Roseamary, 26% Oregano, 26% Savory, and 22% Thyme. Essentially, it is the legal blend, but the 3% basil has been replaced by thyme, as basil grows much differently than the other herbs, those which grow wild throughout the hills and valleys of Provence. Rather than supply basil from someone else, they trust their own herbs and make the most pungent blend you will ever taste.
